The location of the hotel was convenient, being only 5km from both the airport and the city center. This made it easy for us to explore Cairns without spending too much on transportation. The villa we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with basic cooking facilities that allowed us to prepare some meals. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
One thing that bothered us was the safety of the area surrounding the hotel. We were informed by a taxi driver that the area had a history of crime, and unfortunately, our room was broken into during our stay.

Cheap hotel with fantastic prices as for Cairns. We loved this place. Just walking distance from the edge hill tavern, where you can have lunch.

We recently stayed in a family villa for our summer trip. the villa had all we needed including a large fridge, good cooking facilities, and clean bathrooms with fluffy towels. the tropical gardens surrounding the cabin made for a nice location and the pool was great for a refreshing dip. Being close to shops was also a bonus for us as we had everything we needed within walking distance.
We did notice that some people who don't stay at the park wandered in from the park opposite. This led us to keep our valuables close by and lock our doors.
